It is said that Ronald Knox read through Plato's Republic, in Greek, in one day. Daniel B. Wallace (the author of a number of books on scripture and New Testament Greek) prescribes a method for reading the entire New Testament in Greek in a year. Actually by his method you end up reading everything three times.
